Q1. What is INVA Trust?
Ans. INVA stands for Indian Navy Veteran Artificer Trust.

Q2. Is the Trust registered?
Ans. Yes. The Trust is registered vide 1082003827 dated 13 May 2020,under the Indian Trust Act 1882.

Q3. Why is this INVA Trust required?
Ans.

  1. There are many partners who left Navy without any pension or very little pension.
  2. The major problems are some veteran partners face lack of economic provisions, poor health conditions, lack of emotional support and illness in the post retirement period.
  3. This state of affairs becomes a social economic problem or issue as many veteran partners feel that it is a problem. 
  4. The problem of inadequate income after retirement, loss of spouse, poor health, social isolation, family relationship and physical and financial dependency etc.
  5. The traditional Indian joint family system is now declining and more families are becoming nuclear.
  6. On the background it is taken to explore the correct situation of care and support for all the elder veteran partners to live with dignity, hence INVA Trust.

Q4. What is the purpose of this Trust when so many other trusts are available?
Ans. There are many trusts but they cater to the regional needs. This trust is pan India basis that will cater to a veteran partner’s need in any corner of India

Q5. Is there any membership?
Ans. No. By virtue of being a retired artificer (apprentice entry) from Indian Navy you are a member.

Q6. Why should I contribute to this trust?
Ans. To help another veteran partner who is not able to manage by himself.

Q7. I am willing to contribute my one month pension, can I do that?
Ans. Yes, if every partner contributes one month pension amount then we will create a good corpus for giving grants to any veteran partner in need.

Q8. Who is the Chairman of the trust?
Ans. Mr Thomas Chaze, EAP from Class 20.

Q9. Where is the location of the Trust?
Ans. The Trust is for the Veteran Partners of Indian Navy all over the world, wherever they are, not for any region, however its registered office is at Bhubaneswar, Odisha.

Q10. How the Trust is going to raise the fund?
Ans. The trust will be funded by the partners.

Q11. Who are going to be the beneficiary of the fund?
Ans. Any veteran partner and his family who is in distress.

Q12. How is the trust fund being managed?
Ans. The trustees are responsible for the fund but they can only disburse on recommendation/approval of Governing Board

Q13. Can the trust fund be used for other than helping a veteran partner’s emergency medical expenses?
Ans. Yes.

Q14. How do I apply for a grant?
Ans. You can apply by downloading the application form from the website or you can apply on line at www.inexartificers.com

Q15. Can I apply for another veteran partner who is sick and stays near by me?
Ans. Yes.

Q16. How many days it will take to receive a grant from INVA Trust?
Ans. On verification by two volunteer partners the disbursement will be done as soon as possible

Q17. What is the procedure and from where do I get the application form?
Ans. You can download the Application Form from our website www.inexartificers.com

Q18. If I am unable to download, how do I get the forms?
Ans. Please mail your postal address to invatrust2020@gmail.com and you will receive a set of application forms.

Q19. Do you have any scholarship for the children?
Ans. Yes. We are making provisions for dependent children.

Q20. I am direct entry artificer, can I apply?
Ans. No.

Q21. Can my wife or son apply for the grant?
Ans. Yes

Q22. I want to donate my wealth to the INVA Trust. What is the procedure?
Ans. Make your last wish/will document in the name of INVA Trust.

Q23. I want to sponsor some amount every month, will there be any consideration when I m sick and hospitalized and need of fund?
Ans. Yes. The sponsor partners will definitely be considered.

Q24. What are the roles of volunteer partners?
Ans. On receipt of an application by the trust, two volunteer veteran partners will visit the applicant veteran partner to assess the situation and recommend for the grant to the Trust/GB.

Q25. Can I become a volunteer partner in my state?
Ans. Yes. You are always welcome. We need volunteers in each and every area. Pl mail your details to invatrust2020@gmail.com

Q26. Is the trust accounts being audited?
Ans. Yes. The trust will have to submit IT return every year.

Q27. I wish to contribute directly to the partner.
Ans. You are most welcome.

Q30. Is it politically affiliated to any organization?
Ans. No. Absolutely Not.

Q31. What is strength of INVA trust over LCFCT
Ans. The LCFCT was by a partner for the partners however INVA trust is by the partners and for the partners.

Q32. How many partners have been helped so far?
Ans. 6 to 8 veteran partners, from one lakh to six lakhs under LCFCT.

Q34. Is there any other way we can transfer the money to the account?
Ans. You can do it through our payment gateway. Please visit our website www.inexartificers.com/invatrust.donation.

Q35. How much can I contribute through the payment gateway?. One can contribute minimum of Rs.100/- and maximum up to 5 lakhs

Q36. Can I contribute in foreign currency?
Ans. No. Only in Indian Rupees. At the moment we don't have approval for accepting foreign currency.
Q37. Can I contribute by a Cheque?
Ans. Yes. On line transfer will be preferred.

Q38. I want to contribute one month of my pension but in 5 installments is it possible?
Ans. Yes. You will get a DONOR ID. All the money you contribute will go to your account, whether you make one time payment or in installments.

Q39. Why PAN card is required for a DONOR?
Ans. It's a mandatory requirement of Income Tax act to prove the trust has not received any illegal money.

Q40. Is it operational?
Ans. Yes. With effect from 15th August 2020.
